This project took me out of my comfort zone for sure, but in a good way. Alternative film poster for the Mad Max Fury Road Film, as chosen by Director George Miller. If a chance to design a film poster that would be displayed at the MCM Comic Con in London wasn't enough, then the fact that the film Director would be choosing it was the icing on the cake! Taking inspiration from George Miller describing the film as a "western on wheels", my main goal was to make the image resemble an old western movie poster. In the end I had about two days to create the final art, so the only option was to start early and work late into the night. But it paid off, so I can't complain! Director George Miller even said he chose the image because it was "the most arresting and original"
